The Sidas Pro Heated Socks combat cold feet thanks to built-in heating elements in the sole of the sock. Made from Xitanit, a highly conductive metal-like material, the elements channel heat directly into the feet and also reflect escaping heat back to the feet. The socks further boost heat retention thanks to a blend of natural wool and technical fibres which help to regulate temperature and effectively remove perspiration. The anatomical shape of the socks also increases comfort, while press studs at the top of the socks allow for the batteries to be easily attached or removed.
The Sidas Pro S Batteries provide a gentle, constant and even release of heat for up to 16 hours once attached to the Sidas Pro Heated Socks. The compact 2400mAh lithium-ion batteries attach to the sock via press studs and then tuck under elasticated straps for further security, ensuring they remain connected. The Pro S batteries feature three heat settings, with the expected battery life of each detailed below:
- Highest setting: 4 - 5.5 hours
- Medium setting: 6.5 - 7.5 hours
- Lowest setting: 12 - 16 hours
When the batteries do eventually run out, they can both be charged simultaneously using the USB charger supplied as part of the set.
