Sissel Heat Wave Electronic Hot Water Bottle

Hot water bottles are an effective, traditional remedy for insomnia, muscle pain, loneliness and of course, chilly toes! However, standard rubber hot water bottles have a few disadvantages that the Sissel Heat Wave Electronic Hot Water Bottle does not share, making it a mess-free and reliable alternative.

How Does the Heat Wave Hot Water Bottle Work?

Plug the detachable cable into the hot water bottle at one end and a wall socket at the other. The bottle will grow warm in just a few minutes, and will stay hot for several hours.

How Can the Hot Water Bottle Help With My Raynaud's Disease?

The heat of the hot water bottle will help to soothe the painful tingling of cold fingers and toes. It will help to warm your core as well as your extremities, which is also important for lessening the symptoms of Raynaud's Disease.

What Makes Traditional Hot Water Bottles Potentially Dangerous?

The boiling water inside a hot water bottle can be hazardous, both while pouring it into the nozzle and in the case that the bottle ruptures. Most standard hot water bottles are made from natural rubber, which may fracture suddenly when filled with boiling water. This can sometimes result in severe burns and even hospitalisation in extreme cases.

What Makes the Sissel Heat Wave Electrically-Heated Water Bottle Safer?

The Sissel Heat Wave hot water bottle doesn’t need to be filled with boiling water, avoiding splashes during the pouring process. It also has a shut down function at 65°C, and three protective layers to prevent any rupture during use.

What Does the Hot Water Bottle Look Like?

  • The bottle measures 20 x 30cm
  • It features a non-removable velour cover, for soft, long-lasting warmth

You don’t need to have Raynaud’s to appreciate this
15 December 2021  |  Martin

In my childhood we literally used bottles to heat our beds. Purpose-made rubber ones rightly replaced those. But they still mean handling hot water. Electric ones are easier, safer, and easier to reheat during a long night. My grandson could safely use this product whilst his covid-stricken mum was isolated in her bedroom. They’re delighted.
